God Of Fortune Temple

East side refuses to lose to the West or North or South. Geylang Lor 17 recently opened a new God Of Fortune Temple, strategically situated at the most prominent side of the straight road. The walls are painted bright pink, no doors to it, giving the temple a near naked view for all.
Geylang has always been a place where the night never ends. Constant stream of people visiting geylang for various reasons. It has always been a popular place for vices like porno vcds, pirated cigarettes, gambling, drugs, gang fights & prostitution.
Equally colourful is its range & variety of temples. There are actually a few well-known, govt funded & had appeared on TV temples in here. However, this post will only focus on the New-Kid-On-The-Block, the one & only hope for all Sick-a-poreans !

Lastly, let me introduce to you, their God Of Fortune, which i highly suspected is highly influenced by the Tibetian 密宗 religion with a mixture of Taiwaness Chinese Culture. Oh yes, it is manned by Taiwaness people. One is able to check out your past & this life. See your fate through your plam. Check your house fengshui & visiting the HELL ! No joke, a tour to the HELL.
There is an inner section of the temple, which is glass windowed, air-conditioned. Projecting a professional look, these staffs are responsible for more sophiscated stuffs. Take a close look at one of the photo above with newspaper cuttings !
This friday think they are having some events, if free i will drop by & take some photos for people interested in praying to win some lottery money. Don't worry, will not talk too much, cos i know i have frens who might find it too religions & conflict with their beliefs.

Today i go to Lor 17 but nvr see tis temple? The lane is a single way, so is on the left or right side of the lane? Badly need to pray on God Of Fortune, "$$ no enough"
Its on the way towards Bedok.
If u r travelling towards Town / Bugis / u will need need to make a U-Turn.
The temple is on the right.
